Synopsis

Told in the form of a travel notebook, the story follows the steps of a Western traveler who is brought face to face with the Malagasy customs and rituals, especially the Famadihana, the ritual of the turning of the bones.

About the director

Bastien Dubois

Born in 1983, Bastien Dubois earned his diploma in CGI directing from Supinfocom, in Valenciennes, in 2006. After leaving Supinfocom, he gained a lot of experience in creating web sites and animating video games. His CGI graduation short was entitled AH. Bastien Dubois is a keen traveler, and it was during a trip to Madagascar that he had the idea of making this animated travel log.
